Dr. Lori Teller

Dr. TellerDr. Teller is an associate veterinarian at Meyerland Animal Hospital in Houston, Texas. A graduate of Texas A & M University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Teller is also a board certified diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners and is a past President of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Teller is the Chair for the Board of Certification. She has served as a Conference TV Journal reporter for Western Veterinary Conference for 2 years.

Dr. Bernadine Cruz

Dr. CruzAn associate veterinarian at Laguna Hills Animal Hospital in Laguna Hills, California, Dr. Cruz is a graduate of the University of California at Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. She is a frequent visitor to “The Doctors” show on ABC as well as the NBC Today show and Inside Edition. Dr. Cruz is the author of “The Secret Sex Lives of Dogs and Cats” and has was selected as a 2008 Conference TV Journal reporter for the Western Veterinary Conference.

Mr. Thomas Dock

Thomas DockTom is the Managing Editor for the Veterinary News Network and has more than 20 years of hands on animal experience. A veterinary technician and hospital manager, Tom was also the media face and voice for a large group of animal hospitals in Central Indiana. Tom provides monthly columns for newspapers in his hometown and has been writing professionally for more than 5 years with VNN. He is a four time reporter for the Conference TV Journal at the Western Veterinary Conference and was named the VNN Reporter of the Year for 2009.

Dr. Brian Hurley

Dr. HurleyDr. Hurley is the co-owner of Gardner Animal Care Center in Gardner, Massachusetts. Dr. Hurley graduated from the University of Florida School of Veterinary Medicine and has quickly become a popular social media fixture through his blogs and website material.

Dr. Debbie White

Dr. WhiteDr. White is the owner of Lone Mountain Animal Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. A Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine graduate, Dr. White is a regular contributor to national radio programming on the Animal Radio Network. She contributes to both KVBC and KLAS television in Las Vegas. Dr. White is the only veterinarian to be chosen as a Conference TV Journal reporter for the Western Veterinary Conference four times.

Dr. Jim Hammon

Dr. HammondDr. Hammon owns the Northgate Anima Hospital in Chattanooga, TN along with his brother, Dr. Randy Hammon. Both “Dr. Hammons” appear on their local NBC affiliate, WRCB on a weekly basis. Dr. Hammon also joined our Western Veterinary Conference TV reporting team during 2009.

Dr. Jim Humphries

Dr. HumphriesDr. Jim is a graduate of Texas A&M University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. In his 28 year career in the public media, Jim has been involved in every aspect of production and management of print, radio, television and Internet communications. He has served as news contributor and reporter for ABC and NBC Dallas-Ft. Worth and for over a decade for CBS The Early Show and CNN. Jim has syndicated three half-hour television programs and his talk radio show was once heard in over 1,200 markets. Dr. Jim is a popular speaker at state and national meetings and currently owns DVMedia, a multi-national award winning television production company. He often consults with organizations on consumer and crisis communications issues and media preparation. In 2005 he founded the Veterinary News Network.
